About the Heinzel

When the idea was born in 2016 that everyone should get to know the wonderful history of the Heinzelmännchen von Köln and rediscover the original Cologne Heinzelmännchen for themselves, the opportunity arose to revive the Heinzelmännchen von Köln in collaboration with the artist and illustrator Kerstin Harville-Sollich and Kunstgewerbe Gehlmann.

After a great deal of research into the history, design and production, we succeeded in producing the first generation of our
limited edition collectible figures:
